Nutty Brewnette® - American Craft Beer Week
As American Craft Beer Week continues, we have to feature a definite BJ’s Fan Favorite: Nutty Brewnette®. Nutty Brewnette is an American Brown Ale that we are quite proud of. When most people think of Brown Ales, they think of English Brown Ales which tend to me more caramelly and less hoppy. American Brown Ales, including Nutty Brewnette, have a nice healthy dose of hops to give a nice balance to the ale. However, its distinct nutty notes are what makes our Nutty Brewnette unique.
We use Victory Malt, 1 of the 4 different dark malts in this ale, that gives a sort of peanut shell flavor and really makes this ale, well, nutty. Really, this ale is incredibly unique because of how sweet and nutty it is; it is definitely different, and definitely a treat.
Nutty Brewnette® is a hearty ale with all those nut, chocolate, and caramel notes. Therefore, Nutty Brewnette pairs beautifully with heartier dishes. We recommend our Great White Deep Dish Pizza, Black and Bleu-House Burger, or even our Peanut Butter Pizookie®! In the end, no matter what you enjoy Nutty Brewnette with, you will fall in love with this unique ale.
